The Post Bulletin endorsed Tina in 2008, saying she “deserves a third term in the House.”

In an editorial published October 21, 2008, the Post Bulletin newspaper said Tina "deserves a third term in the House." Calling her "experienced" and "hard-working," it also noted that her position in House leadership (as an assistant majority leader) puts her in a position "to serve as an influential advocate for the city of Rochester and the surrounding area."
